The Gite has been extensively renovated and is in tip top condition given its age;

 

Al Fresco Dining Room

The open Al Fresco Dining area is a lovely space especially in the morning and lunchtime and in the evening is a nice place to seek refuge from the sun. There is a retractable awning as the sun does get very hot in the summer! The BBQ is located under the fireplace and there are lots of lovely old features in this area including original stone sinks!

 

Kitchen / lounge

The kitchen has recently been updated with new worktops. There is a fridge in the kitchen and a fridge / freezer in the Barn for drinks etc. There is an electric oven / 4 burner hob, a dishwasher and a fridge and a microwave. There are 2 sofas, a single chair and a breakfast bar  with single stool.

There is a 45inch satellite LG TV picking up Astra 2 freeview channels (same as in UK), and there is free WIFI. All the TVs have same channels from the satellite input. There is a log burner which you are free to use (winter only).

 

Dining Room

There is  a lovely 6 place dining table with chairs

Bedrooms

Duvets with quality cotton covers and fitted cotton sheets are provided for all beds.

There are three bedrooms (refer floor plan). The smaller one (Bed 2) with a pointed stone wall has a 1.4m wide (double) sleigh bed, there is also a wardrobe and bedside tables

 

The larger bedroom with beams and original quarry time flooring has 2 sleigh beds; one is 1m wide (single) and the other 1.3m wide (small double). This bedroom is more suitable for children! There is a large wardrobe, bookshelf and tables. Ask the children who can discover how the door locks!?

The larger bedroom also has a small LG tv so is quite useful as a games area for children or an independent area to relax in.

The 3rd open bedroom is on the mezzanine floor in the barn; it is set amongst ancient beams and you can see the stars! A double bed is provided with a lovely ensuite bathroom with roll top bath.

 

Games Room

The attached barn ground floor is a games room and there is a large fridge. There is a pool table with table tennis top, there is also a table football. There are various  games in the cupboard that you are welcome to use during your stay. There is a 50 inch LG television. There is also a badminton court in the garden.

 

Bathroom

The downstairs bathroom has been updated with a nice shower surrounded by lovely tiles, a sink and toilet, there is also a separate WC next room along.

Laundry Room

The laundry room houses the electric water heater, fuse box, and washing machine. There is also an ironing board and related facilities
